This edition resolves a significant transcription error, compounded by a poorly conceived correction, in the ‘Opera Omnia’ (Corpus Mensurabilis Musicae 55, vol. 6, no.13) — resulting in parallel octaves between Superius Primus and Bassus at mm.8–9 — that has been perpetuated in at least two commercial recordings of this work.

Description: A non-liturgical motet, drawn from multiple biblical texts, suitable for any celebratory occasion. It survives only in a manuscript held in the library of the Benedictine monastery in Montserrat, dating from the composer's tenure as maestro de capilla flamenca in the Royal Court of King Phillip II in Madrid.
