The shepherds said one to another,
"Let us go into Bethlehem
And see this thing that has happened
Which the Lord has told us".
So they went and found Mary and Joseph
And the baby lying in a manger.

The shepherds told them about the message
That the angels had given them.
Mary remembered all these things
And pondered them in her heart.
The shepherds returned singing praises to God
For all that they had seen and heard.
