German text In der Welt habt ihr Angst, aber seid getrost denn ich habe die Welt überwunden. Chorale: Wenn mein Stündlein vorhanden ist, und soll hinfahrn mein Strasse, So gleit du mich, Herr Jesu Christ, mit Hilf mich nicht verlasse. Mein Seel an meinem letzten End Befehl ich dir in deine Händ, du wollst sie mir bewahren.

English translation In the world you have trials, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. When my short hour is nearly o’er and thoughts of death will grieve me, then go with me, O Jesus, Lord, stand by and do not leave me. My soul I offer at my end, entrusted, Lord, into your hand, You are my soul’s protector.
