English text
Hear my Prayer, O God,
and let my supplication come before thee.
Plead thou my Cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me;
fight thou against them that fight against me.
Lay hand upon the Shield and Buckler,
stand up to help me.
Bring forth the Spear,
and stop the way against them that persecute me.
avenge thou my Cause, my God and my Lord.
Save, Lord, and hear us,
O King of Heav'n,
when we call upon thee.
We will go forth in the strength of the Lord God.
Through thee will we overthrow our enemies,
and in thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us;
Our help standeth in the name of the Lord our God,
who hast made heav'n and Earth.
