erzählen Himmel, Erd und Meere.
Ihn preist die sternenvolle Nacht,
die Sonn und aller Sonnen Heere.

Ihn rühmt die blühende Natur,
ihr Schmuck und ihrer Früchte Menge,
die weite ährenreiche Flur
sind seiner Allmacht Lobgesänge.

Great is the Lord; heaven, earth and the seas tell of His power.
Him praises the star-filled night, the sun, and all the multitudes of suns.
