Che più d'ogn' altra luce,
Ed al mio cor adduce
Fiamme, strali e catene,
Ch'ogn'hor mi danno pene:
"Deh! morirò, cor mio.
Sì, morirai, ma non per mio desio."

Yes, you will die, but not because of my desire."
