German text Der Mensch, vom Weibe geboren, lebt kurze Zeit. Und ist voll Unruhe. Gehet auf wie eine Blume, und fällt ab. Fliehet wie eine Schatten, und bleibet nicht. Der Mensch, vom Weibe geboren, lebt kurze Zeit.

English translation Man that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down; fleeth as a shadow, continueth not. Man that is born of a woman is of few days.
