Edition notes: Changed three notes so that the section from bar 37 to bar 40 is an exact transposition of the previous one (bars 33 - 36). The only edition I used was the original 1603 partbook, maybe this was corrected in later versions but I haven't checked.

Italian text Cor mio, mentre vi miro, visibilmente mi trasformo in voi, e trasformato poi, in un solo sospir l'anima spiro. O bellezza mortale, O bellezza vitale, poiché sí tosto un core per te rinasce, e per te nato more.

English translation Oh my heart, while I watch you, I am patently transformed in you, and, once transformed, in a single breath I exhale my spirit. Oh, mortal beauty, Oh, vital beauty, because a heart quickly lives again for you; and for you, if alive, it dies.

Czech translation Můj anděli, když Vás spatřím, Zřetelně s vámi se proměňuji. A pak, takto proměněn V jediném vzdechu duši vypustím. O kráso smrtelná, O kráso oživující, Kterak se uzdraví srdce, Jenž se pro tebe zrodilo A pro tebe zrozené, umírá.
