This category includes works with seven shape notation. There are three systems in current use.

1. The system invented by Joseph Funk in his Harmonia Sacra in 1851

2. The system invented by William Walker in 1867 in his Christian Harmony

3. The seven-shape note system invented by Jesse Aikin (1846)
