This category includes works with seven shape notation. There are three systems in current use.
1. The system invented by Joseph Funk in his Harmonia Sacra in 1851
- Re-typeset version of a diagram in Harmonia Sacra, 1860 edition.
2. The system invented by William Walker in 1867 in his Christian Harmony

- Re-typeset version of a diagram in ChristianHarmony1873.org ("Doe" and "Ray" shapes are those currently used, both inverted from 1873).
3. The seven-shape note system invented by Jesse Aikin (1846)
As used in the 2010 edition of The Christian Harmony.
