Life
Born: 21 April 1546 in Bergamo
Died: 4 March 1617 in Rome
Biography: Italian singer and composer. Maestro di Capella at the church of the Madonna della Staccata in Parma from 1569 to 1575. He sang tenor under Palestrina in the Cappella Giulia from 1578, moving to the Sistine Chapel in 1583. He remained a member of the papal choir until his death.
