Description: The first book of printed music in America. Notes as sofege letters (FSLM) on staff. No copy of edition 1 (1721), 2 (1721), 4, or 6 is known. Third edition had 34 tunes. Fifth edition had 37 tunes, reprinted in editions 7 (1728), 8 (1731), and 9 (1736). Tenth edition had 37 tunes, reprinted in edition 11 (1744).
