vollenden wollt sein Wort,
sandt er ein Engel schnell
das Name Gabriel 
ins Galilesche Land.

2. In die Stadt Nazareth,
Da er ein Jungfrau hatt',
Die Maria genannt,
Joseph nie hatt' erkannt,
Dem sie vertrauet war.
