1. Ad caenam agni providi,
et stolis albis candidi,
post transitum maris Rubri
Christo canamus principi.

2. Cuius corpus sanctissimum
in ara crucis torridum,
cruore eius roseo,
gustando vivimus Deo.

3. Protecti paschae vespere,
ad devastante Angelo
erepti de durissimo
Pharaonis imperio.

4. Iam pascha nostrum Christus est,
qui immolatus agnus est,
sinceritatis azyma,
caro eius oblata est.

5. O vere digna hostia,
per quam fracta sunt tartara,
redempta plebs captivata,
reddita vitae praemia.

6. Consurgit Christus tumulo,
victor redit de barathro,
tyrannum trudens vinculo _
et reserans Paradisum

7. Quaesumus auctor omnium,
in hoc paschali gaudio,
ab omni mortis impetu,
tuum defende populum.

8. Gloria tibi Domine,
qui surrexisti a mortuis,
cum Patre et Sancto Spiritu,
in sempiterna saecula.
Amen.

[sed et cruorem roseum
gustando, Deo vivimus.]

[de Pharaonis aspero
sumus erepti imperio.]

[agnus occisus innocens;]

[qui carnem suam obtulit.]

[per quam franguntur tartara,
captíva plebs redimitur,]

[et paradisum reserans.]

[7. Esto perenne mentibus
paschale, Iesu, gaudium
et nos renatos gratiae
tuis triumphis aggrega

8. Iesu, tibi sit gloria,
qui morte victa praenites,
cum Patre et almo Spíritu,
in sempiterna saecula.]
