CPDL#06608 more possible mistakes
I’ve printed User:Philip Legge’s score and since found at least two more possible errors:
- m.14 Tenor: in the original¹ notes, as well as other editions, the Tenor does *not* share the rhythmic variations of the other three staves here (in the mimic in m.34 however he does).
- m.17 Alto: *all* other editions² agree that the F♮ should stay an F♯ here (in contrast to the one in m.18/19 which is usually reproduced as F♮).
I should also note that:
- m.6 and m.26 Bass: many, but not all, other editions have this as Ju-li-e-ta__ not Ju-li-e--ta.
① See here in the royal library of Madrid. I’m a bit out of my depth in fully comprehending this, though. ② Except the original¹ which is very much unhelpful in determining both the distribution of lyrics (bass) and accidentals.

This is probably more than just Galician-Portuguese and late-mediæval French. There’s a discussion about this, which helps with pronunciation (except for Vergel, which we’re tentatively pronouncing with the Spanish j in the middle).
