Biography

He uses "del Vasto" as a supplement to his name, hence he was probably born there. He was a pupil of Hippolito Sabino, as he calls him "mio maestro" in the preface of Sabino's second book for six voices, which he edited. In fact he is mainly known by his contributions to collections of Sabino's works.
