Description: This is a short setting of the ‘In Manus Tuas’, described in the original parts as being for ‘3 Trebles’. It is suitable for use as an introit or anthem, or as a response for Compline. The original part distribution is SSSAT. However, the original parts include an additional set of clefs and key signatures in the opening margin which, if used, cleverly transpose the piece down a fifth with no other alterations. At this lower pitch, the work may be sung by AAATB.

This work is currently known to appear in only one source. Sadly, that source is missing the book that would have contained the third treble part. The editions presented here reconstruct that missing part.
