Latin.png Latin text

Gaudeamus omnes fideles;
Salvator noster natus est in mundo.
Hodie processit proles magnifici generis, et perseverat pudor virginitatis.
Hodie intacta virgo Deum nobis genuit, teneris indutum membris quem lactare meruit.
Omnes ipsum adoremus qui venit salvare nos.
Alleluia.

English.png English translation

Let all us faithful rejoice;
Our Saviour is born into the world.
Today the offspring of wondrous stock appears, and the modesty of virginity still obtains.
On this day the virgin bore God to us, in infant form, needing to be suckled.
Let us all worship him who comes to save us.
Alleluia.
