Description: In the Discantus Meiland cites the melody of „Es ist auf Erd kein schwerer Leid’n“ (a secular song), which some time later was used for the hymn „Ich hab mein Sach Gott heimgestellt“. It has been set among others by Heinrich Schütz (De vitae fugacitate, SWV 94 (Heinrich Schütz) and Ich hab mein Sach Gott heimgestellt, SWV 305 (Heinrich Schütz)) and Johann Sebastian Bach (Ich hab mein Sach, BWV 351 (Johann Sebastian Bach) and in the orchestral accompaniment to Cantata BWV 106).
