Che farar Meliseo morte fiutati,
poi che filli th'a postom doglia e lagrime,
ne piu come solea lieta salutati.
dubque amici pastor ciascun consacri me,

e chi altro non puo meco col lagrime,
e me, a pianger col suo pianto,
ognun inciti me, ognun la pena sua meco comminche,
ben ch'il lio duol da sè di'e notte inviti mi.
