Let that handsome Narcissus come, who fell in love as he gazed into the pool: let him but look upon you once, then flee from you if he can.
Let that Greek come who destroyed Troy, and look into your eyes but once, then flee from you if he can.
Let Orpheus too come with his lyre, and hear you speak but once, then flee from you if he can.
And not just them: let Zeus come and see your braided (?) tresses, then flee from you if he can.
