Congaudemus

Hi Peter. Thanks for you edition of "Congaudemus..." - a welcome addtion indeed. I have moved the score information to Congaudemus Pariter - En Lux Immensa (Anonymous), since forward slashes (especially a double forward slash) in the title are not permitted in titles, except to identify subpages. With some difficulty, I managed to delete the various instances of your contribution (removing the pages with a // in them presented quite a difficulty). Also, I did not include the Codex Speciálník in the title, as it is a source, not a composer. I'm not sure if I got the correct version of your text, so you may wish to correct it. Again, thanks for this marvellous edition. -- Chucktalk Giffen 02:00, 28 January 2008 (PST)

Codex Speciálník

Hi Peter. Great to see your editions popping up on CPDL and thanks for creating publication pages for Codex Speciálník and others. Two points: firstly, I've just suggested that Codex Speciálník and Category:Codex Speciálník be merged. Your comments on this suggestion would be welcome on Talk:Codex Speciálník. Secondly, I'm a bit concerned about the text which you appear to have copied verbatim from the "Hilliard Ensemble's 1995 ECM recording of some of the Codex's contents [...] liner notes" which you state is copied "while reserving ECM the copyright". I'd like to understand your rationale for that, because I would rather suspect that by reproducing these notes, CPDL is in violation of the author's copyright. May I draw your attention to the notice which appears when you edit any page on CPDL, which says:

"By submitting a contribution to CPDL, you agree to release your contribution under the CPDL copyright license (see our copyright page for details). This means that others will be able to view, edit and reproduce your work freely, both on this site and elsewhere.
"You also confirm that you own the copyright (you wrote this yourself), or that you copied it from a public domain or similar free resource. Do not submit copyrighted material without permission.
"If you do not agree to these terms, please do not submit your contribution."

If you have permission to reproduce the material, please accept my apology and I would appreciate it if you could supply a copy of that permission. If not, I believe that the notes must be removed. Regards --Bobnotts talk 06:49, 16 February 2008 (PST)
