- Edition notes: Transposed up a minor third. To transpose it up any further might present problems for the Bass voices, one of which already briefly reaches top E flat, although the Bass tessitura in this transposed score is still only B flat to b flat.

Description: Source: Cantiones 7, 6 et 5 vocum, Melchior Kriesstein, Augsburg 1545. Two of the tenor parts are in canon. An enjoyably sombre work. The alternation of E flats and naturals (at the original pitch), or G flats and naturals (at this transposition) is an important feature, although many depend on editorial/directorial decisions.
