Arranged by Ananias Davisson in Supplement to the Kentucky Harmony, 1820. It also appears in Moore's Columbian Harmony, 1825, Southern Harmony, 1835, and (as New Canaan) in a different arrangement by William Hauser in The Hesperian Harp, 1848. Words by John Granade, 1804, with six stanzas.
