Description: There are two sources for this work, which differ considerably:
- L'undecimo libro delli madrigali a cinque voci, 1586, with a length of 101 bars.
- Gemmae musicalis Liber Secundus, a compilation of madrigals by Friedrich Lindner, printed in Nuremberg 1589, with a length of 115 bars.
Some sections of both versions are identical, e. g. bars 41 - 51 and 71 - end (1586 version) and bars 49 - 59 and 86 - end (1589 version); other sections have been revised, but using the same musical material.
