1. No North wind is blowing,
So let us be going
The Grotto Azzura
To visit awhile,
The hand must be ready,
The eye must be steady,
Ere vision so lovely
The heart can beguile.

2. By ships gay and queenly
Our boat glides serenely,
By cliff and by hollow
To Ana Capri;
The rocks part asunder,
And then, to our wonder,
The air turns to azure,
To sapphire the sea.

3. No sky of our dreaming,
So lake softly gleaming
Can mirror its glory
So wondrous, so rare;
Like spphire it shimmers,
It glitters, it glimmers,
The Grotto Azzura,
'Tis fairyland there.
