 Help

I could not find anything on the YouTube link relating to this piece--it appears to be the editor's main page on YouTube. Can someone double-check me in case I'm overlooking anything? If there is something relevant there, more description needs to be provided here about what to look for. If there isn't anything specific to this score there, does the editor want to move the link to their user page?

Also, I left a copyright-related question for Alex on his talk page about the copyright status of this score.

Version of this piece, with instruments, published elsewhere

I've done some searching and found this work, which seems to be a work for 6 instruments with the same title, by Holger Clausen, from Carus Verlag. -- Chucktalk Giffen 11:59, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

More information from Carus-Verlag: it's scored for "Solo, Coro SATB, 2 Fl, Pfte, Git, Bass, Perc" - so maybe the present work is an arrangement by Alex Corona, or possibly the vocal score? -- Chucktalk Giffen 12:25, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Will plan to delete unless Alex responds with something compelling within the timeframe requested.

Inconclusive: Alex responded in a timely fashion indicating that he does not believe it to be a violation. We do not have enough information to conclude it's a violation, and we have not received a takedown request, so I am not deleting.

Probably part of the CEI repertoire

This music probably belongs to the repertoire regularly issued by CEI (Conferenza Episcopale Italiana - Italian Conference of Bishops) as a collection of songs recommended for being used during masses. The current version of the repertore includes almost 400 songs. I think this song is not any more in the current version of the repertoire, but it was probably present in previous versions, and there was no indication of the composer's name. I have no idea about copyright issues related to the CEI repertoire, but I think that many settings are produced and translated into other languages starting from the simple melody line, organ accompaniment, and lyrics included in the CEI booklet. The settings by Holger Clausen and by Alex Corona are probably just two examples of such settings. I may investigate further about permitted uses of the CEI repertoire. --Choralia 06:08, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
