Split

I do not agree with a page split (as suggested by Rob) for a practical reason: all seven motets are enclosed in a single zip file. If the editor eventually upload them separately to CPDL, then a split will be required. —Carlos Email.gif 22:43, 14 August 2012 (CDT)

I've changed the tag to merge, with Chants sacrés (Charles Gounod) as the target. Someone able to use the Finale reader will have to figure out disambiguations for the contents, though:
  1. Ave verum
  2. Da pacem, Domine
  3. Psalm 117
  4. O salutaris hostia
  5. Regina coeli
  6. Sub tuum praesidium
  7. Tota pulchra es

Chants sacrés is properly a Publication page, in my opinion, and needs a list of the pieces included in it. I also disagree with splitting this page, and disagree with merging it as well. I need to check: Are these six motets together in Gounod's publication? In any case, this page (7 Motetten) should stay as it is, and Chants sacrés should be considerably expanded so these six can be linked from it. — Barry Johnston (talk) 19:42, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
I have added a list of works to Chants sacrés – someone should sort out which links are correct and attribute the Pub template in the individual works so they link back to the publication. — Barry Johnston (talk) 20:12, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
This page would not be difficult to split, since the Zipfile has all seven Sibelius files. The Midi file is only O salutaris. One of these motets already has a page, which could suggest a split. But see 11 Motetten (Charles Gounod), which would be much harder to split (and also has one motet already with a page). Splitting these pages into several would mean these motets would actually show up on MultiPubList on Chants sacrés (Charles Gounod). I'm not sure. — Barry Johnston (talk) 21:01, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
I have created pages that were missing from 11 Motetten. Now on to 7 Motetten. — Barry Johnston (talk) 16:57, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
