Life

Born: 24 September 1955

Biography: Stuart Brown started composing when at Truro School in Cornwall. His compositions include a number of Christian worship songs that he himself describes as intended for "churches who want modern worship music in a serious yet accessible idiom". His most notable non-sacred composition is the Toccata for piano, written in 1999 for the Japanese pianist Makiko Nakachi.
