Sacred pow'r of love and wine,
See, I bend before thy shrine;
Ev'ry bliss that you impart
Riot now within my heart.
Warble soft my lyre and tell
How their joys my bosom swell.
First I drink and then I sip
Kisses on my fair one's lip.
Then again I pledge my bowl
And alternate yield my soul;
Yield it ev'ry joy to prove
That arise from wine and love.
