Rogo te, pater,
ut mittas Lazarum in domum patris mei,
habeo enim quinque fratres,
ut testetur illis,
ne et ipsi veniant in hunc locum tormentorum.

German translation

Ich bitte dich, Vater,
dass du sendest Lazarus in das Haus meines Vaters,
denn ich habe fünf Brüder,
dass er sie warnt,
damit sie nicht selbst an diesen Ort der Qualen kommen mögen.

English translation

I pray thee, father,
that thou wouldest send Lazarus to my father's house.
For I have five brethren;
that he may warn them,
lest they also come into this place of torment.
