Description: A folk hymn (Lowens 1964). First published in Wyeths Repository, Part Second, 1813, for two voices (Tenor-Bass). William Hauser added Treble and Alto parts in The Hesperian Harp, 1848. Words by an unknown author, before 1804, with three stanzas. Very different from the famous Restoration (William Walker) from Southern Harmony, 1835.
