subcinericium panem
qui surgens comedit et bibit.
Et ambulavit in fortitudine cibi illius
usque ad montem Dei.

Elias looked on the source of his strength,
the bread made from the ashes,
which when he arose he ate and drank.
And he walked in the strength of that bread
even unto the mount of God.
