Latin text Qui laudes tuas cantat, aeterne Deus, multa hilaritate, et qui mandatis tuis velociter obedit, qui non humana quaerit in hac fluxa vita, ardet amore. Sed amore coelesti liquescere se sentit, dum flammeo ardet amore tuo est anima in coelo fragili corpore errat in terra.

German translation Wer dein Lob singt, Ewiger Gott, dem wird große Freude zuteil. Und wer deine Weisungen rasch befolgt, wer nicht nach dem Irdischen trachtet, in dem strömt das Leben, brennt die Liebe. Doch ist es die himmlische Liebe, die er in sich fließen spürt. So denn lodernd deine Liebe brennt, weilt die Seele im Himmel, mag auch der zerbrechliche Leib auf Erden umherirren.
