- felle et acetum potatum:
- te deprecor, ut vulnera tua
- sint remedium animae meae.

- O Signore Gesù Cristo,
- ti adoro
- ferito in croce,
- abbeverato di fiele e aceto.
- Ti prego affinchè le tue piaghe e la tua morte
- siano la mia vita.

- O Lord Jesus Christ,
- I worship thee
- wounded on the Cross,
- having drunk of gall and vinegar:
