English text Now is the gentle season freshly flow'ring, to sing and play and dance while May endureth, and woo and wed too, that sweet delight procureth.

German translation Jetzt ist die milde Jahreszeit, und alles erblüht, singen und spielen und tanzen, während der Mai andauert, und freien und heiraten, was süße Wonne verschafft.
