- Nesciens mater virgo virum peperit
- sine dolore Salvatorem saeculorum,
- ipsum regem angelorum,
- sola virgo lactabat
- ubere de caelo pleno.
English translation

- Without knowing man, the virgin mother gave birth
- without pain to the savior of the ages;
- the virgin alone,
- whose breasts were filled by heaven,
- gave suck to this same king of angels.
