Original text and translations

Latin.png Latin text

Nesciens mater virgo virum peperit
sine dolore Salvatorem saeculorum,
ipsum regem angelorum,
sola virgo lactabat
ubere de caelo pleno.

English.png English translation
by Nicholas Haggin

Without knowing man, the virgin mother gave birth
without pain to the savior of the ages;
the virgin alone,
whose breasts were filled by heaven,
gave suck to this same king of angels.
