Number of voices: 3vv   Voicing: ATB
Genre: SacredMass

Language: Latin
Instruments: A cappella

First published:
Description: Transcribed from the Trent manuscript tr89. The time signatures, notes' values and colourings are as in the manuscript. The perfect notes and rests are dotted and ties are used for the notes whose value cannot be exactly represented. In the Sanctus the notes after the number “3” are in “proportio sesquialtera” (3 vs. 2). The groups of coloured notes containing minims are in “proportio sesquialtera”, the other ones are “hemiolæ”. The Kyrie is troped, the Christe has the 4th verse of the trope while the 5th would be expected. The Credo ends at the words "cuius regni non erit finis". The notes' values within the "ligaturæ" are as follows: the left upstemmed notes are semibreves - the unstemmed notes are breves - the right downstemmed note are longæ. The “musica ficta” suggestions are in the MIDI and MusicXML files.
