English translation
The silvery snow gleams, there is peace and tranquillity in our hearts.
Joy fills our hearts: there will be a Saviour in heaven.
The holy night will soon come, our hearts will be glad,
Churches will be filled with light, the Redeemer will be born.
Our inner voice tells us to pray for God's help,
To become spiritually perfect, to gain eternal life.
