German text Lob, meine Seel, den Herren nun, Herr Gott, du bist sehr herrlich, du bist geschmückt prächtig und schön, Licht ist dein Kleid ganz zierlich. Du breitest aus den Himmel breit wie ein Teppich und Fell bereit, wölbst oben zu mit Wasser.

English translation Now praise, my soul, the Lord, God, you are so glorious, you are adorned splendidly and beautifully, light is your very graceful dress. You broadly spread heaven made like a carpet or fur, and vault above with water. Translation by Gerhard Weydt
