Description: The fourth in Moderne's 'Parangon' series of eleven 'table-book' chansonniers, each printed as one volume with two of the parts printed upside-down, to be read by those sitting across a table. This collection contains thirty-two works for two or three voices by French and Flemish composers (and Francesco de Layolle). It was printed in two parts, with separate tables of contents for the two-part and three-part works, and eschews the table-book format. It was reprinted in 1539.
