German text 1. Ich clag[/] den tag/ unnd alle stund/ das mein außpund/ nit hat sein gesund/ deßhalb[/] verwund/ mein hertz in leid aus gutem grundt. 2. Wie mag/ on clag/ mein hertz nur sein/ dieweil gros pein/ sich mert darein/ mein Sonn/ mir schein/ das werd getrost die liebste mein. 3. Unglück/ dein dück/ balde von mir wendt/ thue das behendt/ mein gros elendt/ zu gutem endt/ mit freuden wendt/ durch glück gelendt.

English translation 1. I complain [/] all day/ and all hours / that my love/ have not been in good health/ therefore,[/] I have been hurt/ my heart sorrows with good reason. 2. How I wish/ without complain/ my heart only be/ meanwhile great pain/ multiply in it/ my sun/ shine/ to comfort my dearest. 3. misfortune / your shadows/ swiftly turn from me / do it swiftly! My big misery/ let end well/ turning it to pleasure/ bringing joy anew.
