English text
1. God at His creating sings.
Order to the void He brings.
Sun and moon and sea and clod
Lift up their voices and sing with God.
2. Singing, singing still He goes,
Making mice and buffaloes.
Flowers springing from the sod
Lift up their voices and sing with God.
3. Slaves in Egypt, full of doubt,
Safely follow Moses out.
Liberated from the rod,
They lift their voices and sing with God.
4. Jesus Christ to us has giv'n
Promise of a home in Heav'n.
There the naked, clothed and shod,
Lift up their voices and sing with God.
5. That's why we still gather here,
Sharing all our hope and fear.
Though some folks may think us odd,
We lift our voices and sing with God.
