Biography
Giovanni Battista Falcidio was a Friulian composer and organist. Born in Spilimbergo, he became organist there in 1564, under Maestro Ippolito Baccusi. A mass of his was published in Baccusi's first book of masses (1570), and Baccusi's second books of madrigals for five and six voices (1572) contain one madrigal of his each. His own book of five-voice masses was published by Gardano in 1570.
