Biography
German Renaissance compiler and editor. Helped to provide the popularity of Orlando di Lasso's work at least in southern Germany. Editor of a collection dominated by Italian works, and received many works directly from the composers themselves. The collection consists of nine volumes, the first eight dominated by Italian composers, and the last containing works predominantly representing composers from Germany and Holland.
