Bulletin board talk page

To start a new topic, just type

== <title of new topic> ==

at the beginning of a new line, right after the General topics (most recent first) section, and post your message as described below. Thus, a new topic will appear before (above) any other topics, to make for easier browsing. For example, typing

== Looking for works in Quenya ==

will start a new topic, appearing as:

Looking for works in Quenya[edit]

Note: Starting new topics in the Announcements and special topics section should follow the same protocol, but such topics should only be started by CPDL Admins/Sysops.

When adding a message to an existing topic, simply click on the (section) [edit] link at the right of the topic title and post your message below any previously posted message(s) on the topic.

Posting a message: Start a new line, and use the Template:ItemPost as follows:

{{ItemPost|<your name & date>|<your message>}}.

The easiest way to sign and date your message is to type four tildes ( ~~~~ ) for <your name & date>. Thus, for example, typing

{{ItemPost|~~~~|

results in:

Use of this talk page

Use this talk page to post messages or questions that don't fit into any of the forums listed on the Bulletin board. Please consult the various forums before starting a new topic here or posting here to see if one of them would be a better place.

I've just cleaned up and fixed a few things that should make the Bulletin board somewhat easier to use. Chief among these is the Template:ItemPost which should make posted messages easier to browse.
