Description: Music first written in The New-England Psalm-Singer, 1770, and revised in Music In Miniature, 1779, both without words. In 1770 the indication by Billings was "Ps. 19," which clearly points to the "New Version" of psalm adaptations by Nahum Tate and Nicholas Brady, 1698.
