English text
As it began to dawn t'ward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary
To see the sepulcher, where the Lord lay.
The angel of the Lord descended from heav'n and said,
Fear not ye; For I know that ye seek Jesus, He is not here, He is risen.
Sing unto God, O ye kingdoms of the earth, Sing praises unto the Lord.
Hallelujah, Amen.
