- Angelus ad pastores ait:
- Annuntio vobis gaudium magnum:
- quia natus est vobis hodie Salvator mundi.
- Alleluia.
English translation
- The angel says to the shepherds:
- I bring you tidings of great joy.
- For unto you is born today the Savior of the world.
- Alleluia.
Italian translation
- L'angelo dice ai pastori:
- "vi annunzio una grande gioia,
- infatti oggi è nato per voi il Salvatore del mondo."
- Alleluia.
Dutch translation
- De engel sprak tot de herders:
