Ach lieber Herre Jesu Christ, weil du ein Kind gewesen bist,
so gib auch diesem Kindelein dein Gnad und auch den Segen dein:
ach Jesus, Herre mein, behüt dies Kindelein.

Alas willingly Lord Jesus Christ, because you were a child,
give also this child of yours your grace and also your blessing :
Alas Jesus, my Lord, protect this child of yours.

Hélas de plein gré le Seigneur Jésus Christ, parce que vous étiez enfant,
